Dong Dong Qiang~

Got up from bed with my half awakened mind, I was told by my parents that we're heading to my mum's clerk house to pay a visit at Kajang. At first, I refused to followed along as I know I will be bored death but then dad asked me to keep him accompany so that he won't feel bored. As his good daughter, of course I won't say NO to him so I followed them along unwilling.

After all, I did not regret coming over here because I got all these~ ;D

#1 Lion Dance Performance!
My first lion dance performance of the year!

Something New

Once again, I hang out with my best friend-Derrick again.

First stop, he introduced me this Taiwanese Restaurant which known as Fong Lye at Sunway Pyramid as our lunch.

Their menu
Simple, nice and cute!
Random shot I took when he is busy placing order for us
Somehow he look so serious in this picture
Forced him to take a picture with his dish as the dish he order seems nice
He took this for me using his Samsung Galaxy SII by forcing me
The purpose he took my picture in the first place is to play it with one of the application he downloaded which will broaden your face so that you will look ugly and funny but luckily in the end he did not do so

After filling up our tummy, we went to TGV to try our luck whether is there any seats available for movie. Luckily enough he is the card holder for Citibank so we get to have the privilege to be in the express lane.

We decided to watch this
Underworld: Awakening
After he brought the tickets only then he noticed that he had brought the wrong one as in he accidentally brought 3D instead of the normal one. Haha. But luckily this movie is worth watching in 3D! It's a nice and cool action movie! Thumbs up to it! Although I know the movie is quite fake as in all are made of graphics but their graphics was damn good! I really enjoyed while watching it. I'm so into the movie till I get scared by the Lycan a few times and that fella keep laughing at me when I got shocked. When the movie ends, I refused to get out from the cinema yet as I haven had enough of it.

Before he fetch me back home, we drop by Uptown for Snowflake but then Snowflake hasn't open yet due to Chinese New Year holidays. So, we tried the dessert shop next to it which is known as ZenQ dessert.

Their logo
We order Taro ZenQ Grass Jelly and share
Honestly, I don't really like it. Somehow, I find it gross. I still prefer Snowflake rather than this though.
Anyway, if you're interested in trying it out.
You can check out their facebook page-ZenQ Dessert
or even their webpage-ZenQ
By the way, some people find it nice maybe its our problem as we simply order one and try and maybe it's not one of their best signature dessert

The End! ;D

A Day Out With The Chicken

Are you curious what does the word-Chicken means in my title? Chicken is actually a nickname of a friend of mine. He created the nickname for himself. Wanna know how does he look like?

Here you go
*He is so gonna kill me if he saw this XD*
Ta-Daa!
He is the Chicken! XD
I know him from Secret Recipe as we worked under the same company during our internship which allocated by UCSI. The reason we went out together is because he said that it has been years he never been to karaoke and he missed it so both of us went Neway at One Utama. Seriously, it's not worth singing during Chinese New Year as the rate is way more expensive than usual! We only sing for 2 hours and then it cost us Rm56! Anyhow, I'm indeed surprised that he actually can sing quite a number of Chinese song which the matter of fact he is a half banana. Although he need vocal accompaniment but still he has a voice that is not bad after all.

We can't decide where to have our lunch and then end up we're at Carl's Jr after walking all around to hunt for foods. Other than that, we took lots of crazy pictures together but I shall post a normal one of us XD

Picture of the day :)
Forced to take picture with him as I owe him cause on the last day of our internship, I did not take a single picture with him

That's all for today!
The End!

Movie Marathon

For the past three days, I have been visiting the cinema for Chinese New Year movies with my family. It a MUST every year for my family as somehow my parents will only visit cinema this often during Chinese New Year. I don't think they really into Chinese New Year movies but in fact this is the only time they are free to relax and enjoy watching movies in the cinema due to the long holidays. Therefore, when it comes to movies with them during Chinese New Year, I will never say NO to them as I know how important is it to them to be able to watch movies and laughed along with their children. Sometimes, the needs of a parent is just simple. All they want is just their children being able to spend some quality time with them. That's all they want and nothing more as nothing is more valuable to them than being able to spend quality time with their children.

Don't be surprised as the matter of fact I have done watching all the Chinese New Year movies available in the cinema!

This was our first movie
Ah Beng The Movie: Three Wishes
This was a local Chinese New Year movie
I don't really like the story line so overall it will be a so so movie
Anyway, I'm impressed that Jack Lim involved in so many aspect in this movie!
Click here for its movie trailer !

Second of all, is this
I love Hong Kong 2012
It's better compared to Ah Beng as this made me burst into laughter more even though the story line isn't that good either
This is the scene which made me laughed madly.
Even my brother stare at me when I'm laughing. Haha. I just can't control myself XD
In case you don't know, they actually copied the scene from the movie of "You Are The Apple Of My Eye"
Check out their trailer by just clicking here

Lastly, goes to this
All's Well End's Well 2012
Personally, I prefer this out of those two as this has a better story line that comes with laughter as well
Therefore, if you ask me for my suggestion, I will surely go for this! ;D
Do check out their trailer by clicking here

Before I end this post, I would like to share this song
It's the theme song for Ah Beng The Movie: Three Wishes
It's a touching song sang by one of our local chinese female singer known as Ah Yoke :')

Second! =DD

All this while I prefer second day of Chinese New Year rather than the first day. This is because I'm much more closer with my mum's side relatives compared with dad's. This may due to distance and relationship. Mum's side were all at Petaling Jaya (PJ) area which is not a far distance from our house. Therefore, whenever there's any Chinese festivals, our family will surely drop by and celebrate. Moreover when I was young, I always play together with my cousins thus our relationship bonding are much more closer and stronger.

On this day, our family are all in RED! In case why you ask this is because it's my mum's idea. She said it's just a theme specially for Chinese New Year. This was her first time request for such a thing. Our family never did any theme like this before. This is our very first time.
In order to satisfied her, I went last minute shopping on Sunday just to search for a brand new red clothes. At first, I'm afraid I couldn't get one as I thought there will be not much choice left or all my size are out of stock but still I'm luckily enough to find a suitable and nice top ;D

Family photo took at my grandma's house

I even took individual photos with my beloved parents since we are so RED today ;D

With daddy ♥
With mummy
People tends to said that we actually look alike but I don't agree though ;p
If you're wondering why there isn't an individual photo of me with my brother. Well. This is because he was too busy playing games with cousins ><"

Check it out!
Although I do not get much angpau today but I'm satistied with the amount I receive
It's way better than yesterday
 ;D

First day ;D

It's the first day of Chinese New Year! The best part about Chinese New Year is collecting angpau from parents and relatives which is the reason why I love Chinese New Year! What? Realistic? Well. Who doesn't like angpau =p

Kick start of the day
Breakfast prepared by mum
It's vegetarian!
After google about it then only I know the meaning of eating vegetarian on the first day of Chinese New Year!  It's actually a symbol for longevity! click here
Okay. I admit that I do not know much about my own religion especially when it comes to tradition

Pictures below was taken at one of my uncle's house(dad's side).
With my pretty mum
With my younger brother
Us with mum ♥
My parents
Aww~ aren't they sweet ♥

The amount of angpau I got today
Missed out some angpau from some relatives as some of them went for vacation while some went off early before we arrived :(
Was disappointed with the amount of cash I got today as it is so little..
Hopefully tomorrow I will get more from mum's side.. *ohh please ohh please =p*

Reunion dinner

Reunion dinner is held on Chinese New Year Eve every year whereby it's the time where family members get along together to celebrate this special day. This special day is meaningful to Chinese as this is the time whereby all family members get along together as usually its hard to gather everyone to have dinner together due to each having their own busy life. This is also the best time to build up a better relationship with each and everyone.

As for our family, it is also an important day to us as we hardly get the chance to sit down together and have our dinner as well. When it's comes to dinner timing, usually it's only me and dad. Sometimes, brother will join us if he is not working night shift. Mum rarely join us because she is either busy with her work or she's on diet.

Dishes that mum cooked for today's reunion dinner
I missed her cooking so much as usually I'm the one who cooking since she is busy but my cooking will never beats her. This can be proved my dad and brother. Whenever it comes to mum's cooking, they will finished up everything on the dishes but mine there's always leftover. That's how big the differences are ><"

Whenever it comes to our family moment, I truly appreciate the moment with them. Those laughter and warmth moments that can't be replaced by anyone because this is known as family love whereby you only can get it from your beloved family

"No matter how busy you are, do remember to go home and accompany your loves one-family as they're waiting for your arrival"

A tiring day

Refer to Wikipedia, Lou Sang or also known as Yusheng in Chinese or Prosperity Toss which is a Teochew-style raw fish salad. It usually consists of strips of raw fish, most commonly salmon, mixed with shredded vegetables and a variety of sauces and condiments, among other ingredients. Lou Sang is a symbol of abundance, prosperity and vigor for Chinese.

As according to plan, we head to Sakae Sushi at Fahrenheit 88 for Lou Sang after class. This time, I'm the one who driving. I was quite nervous at that moment as this is the first time fetching so many people other than my family. Thank god. We reached there safely. Phew~

Ta-Daa~!!
Our main dish-Lou Sang ;DD
We go for the Abundance Set which suitable for 6 pax and more as there were 7 of us in total
It only cost us Rm38.80 and it is in a big portion which worth every cents we spend for it!
Other than this, they have Prosperity Set as well which cost only Rm16.80 for 1-2pax. For more information, you can click here

After that, I had another round with one of my best friend-Derrick for movie at Cathay in eCurve.
We went for this
The Viral Factor
Honestly, I fall asleep while watching this movie. I think it's not the movie problem but me. Maybe I was too tired  as I 've asked quite a number of people, all of them give good comment towards it. Was kinda regret that I fall asleep. Was wondering should I go for a second try? Hmm. Anyhow, although I fall asleep but still I'm impressed with Nicholas Tse's acting skill. He was damn good! No wonder he got "Hong Kong Film Award for Best Actor (2011)"! He deserve it! As for Jay Chou, I can see that he has improved :)

That's all for today!
Before I end this post, I would like to share a Chinese New Year song that is really hit recently! ^^
Enjoy! ;D

It's over

Yes! I'm done with both quizzes for Food Technology and Nutrition & Metabolism.Thank god. It's over and finally I can get a good rest tonight. Seriously, both of this quizzes drive me crazy as I couldn't stay focus when I'm studying due to my Chinese New Year mood have been turned on. Moreover, I'm having restless night almost everyday due to my personal issue. Because of all these reasons leads me studying last minute and burning midnight oil which torture me to death.

Somehow, I have a feeling that my marks will be quite low for both quizzes as I have no confident towards myself especially when it comes to Nutrition & Metabolism paper. I just hoped that I can at least score 6 out of 10% for both quizzes then I'm satisfied with it. Look like I gotta put extra effort in my Mid Term papers in order to have a better result so that my gpa won't go any further down.. *finger cross*

"Today I don't feel like doing anything
I just wanna lay in my bed"
The Lazy Song by Bruno Mars
I bet this was once of your favorite song in your playlist as everyone like the lyric of the song
Somehow, his MTV made me laughed XD

Anyhow, I hope I can have a good rest tonight just like her
shhhhhhhhhh~

Goodnight peoples ^^
